Laural House

Laural House is a residential service supporting up to two younger and older adults with learning disabilities, autism, mental health conditions or sensory impairment. The CQC rated the home Good overall, finding improvements had been made since the last inspection in staffing levels, medicines competency and risk management, though quality monitoring and mental capacity assessments still needed further development.

Inspectors found people were treated with kindness and involved in everyday decisions, with staff supporting independence and communicating using preferred methods. Relatives described staff as patient and caring, and people were supported to take part in community activities such as horse riding and swimming.
