The Manor House - Frenchay

The Manor House - Frenchay is a residential service supporting adults with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, sensory impairments and dementia. The CQC rated it good overall, a change from the previous outstanding rating. Inspectors found enough skilled staff, strong relationships with families and health professionals, and person-centred care that helped people pursue interests, community life and personal goals.

Some governance gaps were identified: quality systems did not always catch issues such as incomplete documentation, there were no provider-level checks, and some environmental risks had not been assessed. Families praised staff warmth and consistency, describing a nurturing, settled atmosphere and long-serving, trusted carers.
