Frenchay House

Frenchay House accommodates up to 30 older people requiring nursing or personal care, including those living with dementia. The service operates from a large listed building in a village setting, offering communal areas alongside individual flats with private lounges and bathrooms. At inspection, 28 people were living at the service.

Staff received training to support people with medicines according to their needs. Inspectors identified some gaps in medicines records, which the provider addressed with additional information and assurances following the inspection. Governance processes were effective overall, with audits helping the service identify, monitor and address performance and risks. Subsequent medicines audits identified shortfalls and actions were taken as necessary to meet standards.
