The Manor House

The Manor House provides accommodation, nursing and personal care for up to 25 people, including those living with dementia. The CQC rated the service good overall, unchanged from its previous rating. Inspectors found a strong learning culture, with accidents and incidents thoroughly investigated and lessons acted upon.

Risks were well assessed, and the environment was well maintained, with refurbishment ongoing where needed.

Staff were described as kind, skilled and person-centred, and people and relatives spoke warmly of the care and food provided. Medicines were generally managed well, though some improvements were noted. Inspectors did find that some staff training had not been completed or kept up to date in line with the provider's own policy.
