Gardenia Court Nursing Home

Gardenia Court provides nursing and personal care for up to 29 residents. At the time of inspection, 19 people were living at the service. Inspectors found that systems to monitor and audit safety and quality were not effective and had failed to identify necessary improvements. Risk assessments lacked adequate detail in several areas, including specific guidance for staff on how to use people's moving and handling equipment. Additionally, risk assessments were missing for residents at risk of spilling hot or cold drinks, representing a gap in safety planning.
