The Lodge

The home is a large adapted building located near Exeter's centre, with bedrooms spread across two floors accessible by passenger lifts, communal areas on both levels, and a large enclosed, landscaped garden.

Residents and relatives expressed extremely positive views about their experience. People reported feeling safe, well cared for and valued. One visitor described their relative's respite stay as "far exceeding any other," calling it "a welcoming, homely place." Another relative noted the home doesn't feel institutionalised, explaining that their grandfather uses his buggy independently, participates in yoga and minibus trips, and "does what he wants to do." Care was described as "incredible" by those spoken with during the inspection.
