The Lindsay

The Lindsay provides personal and nursing care to up to 70 people, including younger adults and older people living with dementia. The purpose-built home spans five floors with two specialising in dementia care, and offers communal facilities including a café, cinema and hairdressing salon. At inspection, 57 people were using the service.

Residents and relatives described The Lindsay as a safe place. However, inspectors found that staffing levels did not always meet people's needs, with some residents reporting delays in staff responding to call bells. The manager addressed concerns raised about staffing, mental capacity and management checks immediately, with improvements to be assessed at the next inspection.
