Branksome Heights

Branksome Heights is a purpose-built residential care home accommodating up to 46 people, with 35 residents at the time of inspection. The home has made significant improvements since its previous inspection, implementing stronger safeguarding measures with staff clear on identifying and reporting abuse concerns. Medicines management now follows best practice standards, and quality assurance systems have been enhanced to promptly identify and address any required improvements.

Residents receive appropriate support for their nutritional needs with good access to healthcare professionals. Comprehensive risk assessments ensure people are safely supported, and capacity assessments are conducted in line with legal requirements, with care delivered within this framework. Staff are described as kind, compassionate and attentive, treating residents with dignity and respect.
