The Laurels Care and Nursing Home

The Laurels Care and Nursing Home provides personal and nursing care to up to 27 people, including older adults, those with physical disabilities, mental health needs, and people living with dementia. At inspection, 20 people were using the service. Residents reported satisfaction with the variety and quality of meals, though inspectors found opportunities to improve mealtime choices and ensure more balanced diets. Some accommodation and outdoor areas required upgrades to better support people's comfort and wellbeing, with the provider already planning developments in response to these needs. Each person had a care plan tailored to their individual needs and preferences, with staff supporting people's healthcare requirements and ensuring their needs were regularly assessed, planned for, and reviewed.
