Turfcote Care Home with Nursing

Turfcote Nursing and Residential on Helmshore Road provides personal and nursing care to 76 older people, including those living with dementia. At the time of inspection, 49 people were residing at the home. The provider had implemented a recruitment drive to ensure adequate staffing levels to meet people's needs, with agency staff filling any gaps. Guidance was in place to allow people to receive visitors safely, and where visits had been restricted, people were supported to maintain contact by telephone.
