About The Hazelwell
The Hazelwell is a residential care home providing personal and nursing care to up to 55 people, with 39 residents at the time of inspection. The service supports people requiring nursing care, respite care, end of life care, and assistance with everyday living for people with dementia.
Improvements had been made to infection control, medicines management, and risk management. However, inspectors identified areas needing further development in medicines management, recruitment processes, and recording and reporting of care aspects. Recommendations were made regarding medicines management and recruitment procedures.
