The Hawthorns Aldridge

The Hawthorns Aldridge is a purpose-built care home that accommodates up to 74 people, currently providing personal care to 52 elderly residents, including three on short-term respite breaks. People felt safe at the home, with staff demonstrating good knowledge of safeguarding processes and how to maintain safety. There was sufficient staffing to support people safely, though views on staffing levels were mixed among residents and staff members. Care plans and risk assessments were kept up to date and regularly reviewed, and people received their medicines as prescribed. Residents were supported to have maximum choice and control over their lives.
