This residential care home accommodates up to 23 people, including those with dementia. At inspection, 21 people were using the service. While people's needs were being met in a timely way, concerns were identified around fire safety and infection control measures. Both people and staff felt staffing levels were sometimes inadequate, though the home had established safeguarding systems and processes for learning from incidents. However, the service was not consistently supporting people to have maximum choice and control over their lives, with staff not always supporting them in the least restrictive way possible or acting in their best interests.
