The Granleys

The Granleys is a care home providing accommodation, personal care and nursing care for up to 17 people with learning disabilities or mental health conditions. At the time of inspection, 14 people were living there. The service maintained a clean environment and had implemented comprehensive infection control measures, including PPE stations positioned near the main entrance and throughout the home. Visitors were supported by staff to follow safe guidance, with temperature checks and Covid-19 testing conducted before entry. The service had a designated indoor visiting area for relatives and professionals.

All people admitted to the service received Covid-19 testing upon arrival, and staff complied with weekly testing requirements with the registered manager following up on any missing results. Residents were supported to receive regular Covid-19 testing throughout their stay.
