The Grange

The Grange is a residential care home providing personal and nursing care to up to 35 residents aged 65 and over in one adapted building. At the time of inspection, 30 people were living there.

Residents felt safe and their risks were identified and managed, though record-keeping relating to risks was not always complete. Staff understood how to identify and report concerns about harm and abuse, and people received their medicines as prescribed. There were sufficient staff on hand to meet residents' needs, and the service ensured people received food and drink tailored to their dietary requirements.

Staff felt supported and completed training to ensure they had the skills and knowledge needed to care for residents effectively.
