The Grand

The Grand provides nursing and personal care to 82 older people, including those living with dementia. The purpose-built home spans four floors and focuses on enriching residents' lives and helping them fulfil their wishes and aspirations. Staff encourage residents to make suggestions for improving their care and well-being, supported by a dedicated well-being team and specific champions throughout the service.

The home offers stimulating and engaging activities, with particular strength in helping people relive their memories. Technology plays an important role in keeping residents connected with loved ones, including the use of a large interactive tablet that enables engagement through social media platforms. Residents receive person-centred care tailored to their individual needs.
