Balmore Country House

Balmore Country House, in Nottinghamshire, is a residential home providing personal and nursing care for up to 76 people, including older people and those living with dementia. At the time of the assessment, 28 people were using the service, which is now rated Good overall, an improvement on its previous requires improvement rating.

Inspectors found people felt safe and were involved in decisions about their care, which matched their assessed needs. People had access to GPs, dentists and other health and social care professionals, and were supported to discuss their wishes for end of life care where they wanted to.
