The Dene Lodge - Minehead

The Dene Lodge in Minehead provides accommodation and personal care for up to 39 people, including older people and those living with dementia, across the main house and a smaller bungalow, Rachel's House. The CQC rated the home Good overall, finding that previous breaches around governance, consent and person centred care had been resolved following changes to the management team.

Inspectors found a kind and caring staff team who supported people to make choices, with care plans in place to guide safe, effective support. People and relatives spoke positively about the improvements made, and staff worked well with outside professionals to meet health and social care needs.
