Wyndham House

Wyndham House is a care home providing accommodation, personal care and day care for up to 50 older people, with 34 people living there at the time of the assessment. The CQC found risk assessments for stair access were not consistently in place, staffing levels caused delays in answering call bells, and oversight systems were not always effective at monitoring the quality of care.

Inspectors found people and relatives felt the home was safe and were happy with staff skills and training, and management was described as approachable. However, some staff did not always follow correct use of protective equipment, and some carpets were heavily stained, though replacement was underway. Overall, the CQC concluded the service requires improvement.
