The Croft Residential Home

The Croft is a residential care home providing personal care to 22 people aged 65 and over, with capacity for up to 24 residents. The service operates across two floors in one adapted building. People and their relatives hold the management and staff in high regard, with residents receiving care in an exceptionally kind and warm way. Staff afford people a high level of dignity and respect, giving them time to express their wishes, views and feelings while promoting choice and ensuring preferences are met.

Records evidence that people's needs have been properly assessed and demonstrate the ongoing care and support residents receive. The registered manager leads by example with visible presence at the home, which people appreciate and value. The management team has built strong systems to sustain and improve the quality and effectiveness of the service, while the staff team works well together and understands their roles in keeping people safe from risk and avoidable harm.
