Inspirations

This residential care home provides personal and nursing care to up to 16 older adults and younger adults, some living with dementia. At inspection, the service was operating at full capacity with 16 people using the service.

Staff demonstrated a strong understanding of safeguarding and took appropriate action to protect people from abuse. Risk assessments were in place for each person, with staff following individualised plans to minimise identified risks. The home maintained safe staffing levels with properly recruited staff. People received their medicines as prescribed, and infection control measures were implemented to protect residents' health. When incidents or accidents occurred, the home investigated and shared learning with staff to prevent recurrence.
