The Chase

The Chase is a residential care home providing accommodation and personal care support for up to 9 people with a learning disability and autistic people. At inspection, all 9 residents were living there. The home is spacious and arranged over two floors, with people able to move freely around communal spaces and a large garden.

People living at The Chase are kept safe through effective care plans and risk assessments that reduce the risk of harm. Staff provide explanations to residents about decisions and support them to make choices. The home meets individual needs and provides sensory activities where required. Independence is actively encouraged, with residents supported to help in the kitchen and participate in daily activities. Staff support residents to have maximum choice and control over their lives, using the least restrictive practices and acting in their best interests.
