Sahara Lodge

Sahara Lodge is a residential care home supporting people with learning disabilities and autistic people, set across three levels with a large garden in the local community. It supported seven people at the time of the CQC's assessment. Inspectors found the home was performing well, with people saying they felt safe and happy, and family members describing staff as approachable.

The CQC found care was person centred, with well trained staff, safe recruitment practices and appropriate management of risk that maximised independence. People had choice and control over their lives, and staff worked closely with health professionals to support all round wellbeing. The service was rated good overall.
