Phoenix House

Phoenix House provides personal care and support for people with learning disabilities and autistic people, accommodating up to 9 residents in individual flats arranged around a communal courtyard garden. At inspection, 6 people were using the service. The home is designed to promote independence and choice, with staff supporting residents in the least restrictive way possible aligned to their best interests. Policies and systems reflect this approach, though one person's needs previously affected communal space usage until the provider took action to safeguard everyone's freedoms. Staff work collaboratively with health and social care professionals to tailor care to each individual's needs, supporting their health and wellbeing while respecting dignity and privacy.
