The Chanters Care Home provides personal care for up to 40 older people, including those living with dementia, across two units. At inspection, 38 people were using the service. Staff are trained to recognise abuse and safety risks, which are regularly assessed and reviewed by the registered manager.

Staffing levels are adequate, and medicines are managed safely with appropriate use of personal protective equipment during care delivery.

Staff possess the skills and knowledge needed to deliver effective care. People's needs are assessed and reviewed regularly to ensure their health and wellbeing are supported through promotion of healthy lifestyles and management of health conditions. The building is designed to accommodate the needs of residents, with systems in place to ensure people receive appropriate care and support.
