The Burlington

The Burlington provides care and nursing for up to 78 people, with 41 residents living there at the time of inspection. The home cares for people living with dementia.

During lockdown restrictions, staff supported residents to maintain contact with their families through telephone and video calls. Once restrictions eased, the provider established safe visiting arrangements including a dedicated visiting pod accessible without traveling through the home. Visitors had their temperature taken and provided negative lateral flow test results before visits, and were required to wear personal protective equipment.
