The Beeches Nursing and Residential Care Home

The Beeches Nursing and Residential Care Home in Sissinghurst provides nursing and personal care for up to 31 people, including older people living with dementia. The CQC found breaches relating to safe care and governance, with fire safety plans not robust enough to be assured people were protected, medicines records incomplete, and inconsistent safeguarding reporting.

Inspectors found staff caring and competent, with enough of them to meet people's needs, and residents and relatives spoke positively about the care they received. A newly appointed manager had begun making improvements, and staff felt supported, though formal supervisions were not always taking place as required.
