The Beeches Nursing and Residential Care Home

The Beeches provides personal and nursing care to up to 31 older people, including those living with dementia. At inspection, 20 people were using the service. The home maintains clean and tidy premises with infection prevention and control practices consistently followed. Where staff initially failed to wear face masks correctly, the registered manager addressed this immediately.

Medicines are managed safely and potential safeguarding concerns are properly referred to the local authority for investigation. Risk assessments are completed where needed and appropriate measures are put in place to reduce risks. The service maintains sufficient staffing levels to meet residents' needs, with new staff recruited through safe recruitment procedures. Incidents are recorded and managed appropriately.
