The Avenues Care Centre

The Avenues Care Centre provides personal care to up to 62 older people and those living with dementia, with 53 residents at the time of inspection. While people and their relatives reported feeling safe, inspectors found the service was not always safe and residents had been placed at risk of harm on occasions. Some risks to people had not been identified, and care planning was inconsistent, with no care plans in place for two residents. Additionally, medicines were not always managed safely, creating a risk that people's medications would not be effective.
