Maltreath Residential Care Home

Maltreath provides personal care for up to 12 people with mental health needs and some living with dementia. At inspection, seven people were using the service, accommodated in one building. Recent management changes were viewed positively by people, staff, and relatives. However, inspectors found that people's records did not always contain sufficient guidance and information needed to deliver personalised care. Staff lacked detailed guidance about how to mitigate risks to individuals and provide care in the way people preferred.
