The Ark

Heathcotes (The Ark) provides accommodation and personal care for a maximum of seven younger adults with learning disabilities, some of whom also have autism. All seven beds were occupied at the time of inspection. Staff numbers were adequate and appropriately trained to support residents effectively.

People expressed satisfaction with their care and felt safe and well looked after. The home had robust safeguarding procedures in place, with staff recognising and reporting concerns appropriately. Risk assessments were completed for residents, and the home monitored accidents and incidents to identify patterns and reduce risks.
