Tapton Grove

Tapton Grove is a residential and nursing home in Kingston upon Thames providing care and support for up to 61 adults living with dementia and mental health conditions. Following a period in special measures, the CQC found the home had made enough progress to come out of special measures, though it remains rated Requires Improvement overall. Continued breaches were found around safe medicine management and consent, with gaps in the provider's own audits.

Inspectors also noted real improvements, including better risk management, updated care plans, stronger staffing and a wider activities programme shaped by residents. People and relatives spoke positively, saying they felt safe, involved in decisions and well supported by a consistent keyworker system.
