Langdale Lodge

Langdale Lodge provides personal and nursing care to 30 older people, including those living with dementia and younger adults, across two floors with communal lounge and dining areas. The home has robust safeguarding systems in place to protect residents from abuse, with staff understanding safeguarding principles and knowing how to raise concerns. Risk assessments are regularly conducted with appropriate measures to minimise harm, and accidents and incidents are recorded with actions taken to prevent reoccurrence.

The service maintains adequate staffing levels to meet care needs, with safe recruitment practices and appropriate employment checks completed. Medicines are administered safely and staff follow correct infection control procedures. The home supports residents to have maximum choice and control over their lives, with staff adopting the least restrictive approach possible and acting in residents' best interests, supported by appropriate policies and systems.
