Talbot View is a purpose-built care home in a residential area of Bournemouth, accommodating up to 59 people. At the time of inspection, 56 people were living there, including some with dementia. The home is accessed across two floors via stairs or a lift.

The home had implemented strong safety practices for welcoming visitors, including rapid COVID-19 testing, personal protective equipment provision, health and symptom checks, and hand hygiene protocols. Vaccination status was verified for all visiting professionals, and staff vaccination records were maintained. Staff COVID-19 testing followed government guidance frequencies with appropriate monitoring processes in place.
