Talbot Woods Lodge

Talbot Woods Lodge is registered to support up to 15 people with learning disabilities and autistic people, and 15 people were living there at the time of the assessment. The CQC found the service continued to meet its expectations, with improvements from the previous inspection embedded and sustained. Risks were well managed, staff were confident in raising concerns, and people were protected from avoidable harm.

Inspectors found a culture of encouragement and empowerment, with staff committed to helping people live full lives. People had their own private spaces, access to healthcare, and enjoyed daily activities including dog walks. Relatives and professionals gave positive feedback, and the home was rated Good overall.
