Sutton Rose Care Home

This care home provides personal and nursing care to 22 residents aged 65 and over, though it can accommodate up to 85 people. The service is organized across three floors, each with its own communal areas.

During the inspection, significant concerns were identified with medicines management. People did not always receive their medicines as prescribed, and audits by the management team and provider failed to ensure medicines were safely managed. Additionally, care records were not always accurately completed and CCTV was not being used in line with current guidance. While residents had personalized care plans and risk assessments in place to help staff manage associated risks safely, these systems were not functioning as intended.
