Sutton House

Sutton House is a residential care home providing care and support to seven men living with a learning disability. The service is described as excellent, with residents leading full lives and feeling happy. One resident said, "I think it is outstanding here, the staff are brilliant. It has changed me, it has made me feel good." The home focuses on promoting choice, control, independence and inclusion, with support tailored to help people develop new skills and grow in confidence.

Staff at Sutton House ensure people are safe and protected from harm while respecting their choices. Risks are managed carefully and residents are supported to develop the skills needed to maintain their own safety. People receive their medicines as prescribed, and there are enough staff to meet people's needs and preferences. The team is described as passionate about maximising people's capacity to make their own decisions.
