Sussex House Care Home

Sussex House is a residential care home accommodating up to 24 people across three floors, providing personal care and support for those with mental health conditions. At the time of inspection, 22 people were using the service.

Staff provided care and support to residents, though they did not always have sufficient time to respond promptly to people's presenting or changing needs. Medicine practices were not consistently aligned with best practice guidelines. While a quality and safety monitoring system was in place, it was not always effective in identifying and addressing issues within the home.
