About Sunningdale Court-Care Home

Sunningdale Court, in North Lincolnshire, provides accommodation and nursing or personal care for up to 20 adults with learning disabilities or autistic spectrum disorder. The CQC rated the home Requires Improvement overall, a fall from its previous Good rating, and found breaches of legal requirements relating to governance, person-centred care, staffing levels and safe care and treatment.

Inspectors found risks to people's health were not always identified or managed, staff lacked some required training, and there were not enough staff to support meaningful activity and conversation. Medicines management was inconsistent, and people lacked personal goals or accessible information. Despite this, people and relatives told inspectors they felt safe and described staff as kind and respectful.
