Brampton Lodge

Brampton Lodge provides accommodation and nursing care for up to 59 older people, including those living with dementia. The home operates three separate wings: one for 30 people with dementia, one offering 15 general nursing places, and one with 14 intermediate care places. At inspection, the home was caring for 57 residents.

The service was undergoing a change of management during the inspection period, which affected consistency in record-keeping and care planning as systems were being reviewed and updated. Some care plans had been personalised with up-to-date information, though others remained more task-focused. Governance systems were in the process of being implemented alongside updates to existing procedures.
