Summerfield Care Home

Summerfield Care Home provides personal care to up to 21 older people, some living with dementia. At inspection, 18 people were using the service. Inspectors found that care plans did not always contain sufficient information about identified risks or clear guidance for staff to manage them safely. Hygiene practices in bathrooms required improvement to better promote safety. People's care records contained outdated or contradictory information, and staff did not consistently work with other health and social care professionals to effectively meet people's needs.
