River Lodge

River Lodge is a residential care home providing personal care to people with learning disabilities and autistic spectrum disorder. At inspection, the home was supporting 8 people in an adapted building with capacity for up to 8 residents.

Staff supported people to live as independently as possible while safely managing risk, enabling residents to maintain choice and control over their lives. People were encouraged to have ownership over their medicines, with improved practices ensuring medications were managed safely. Staff demonstrated caring attitudes and had strong knowledge of individual residents' needs, supporting them in ways that promoted dignity and community inclusion.
