Stockingate Residential Home

Stockingate Residential Home provides personal care to up to 25 older people, some living with dementia. At inspection, 21 people were using the service. Staff knew people well and understood the risks associated with their support, with care plans and risk assessments providing guidance about individual and environmental needs. People received their medicines safely and were protected from harm through staff awareness of safeguarding procedures. The home maintained adequate staffing levels and ensured the premises were clean and tidy to protect against infection risks. Regular training and supervision equipped staff with the knowledge and skills needed to provide safe care, while recruitment procedures ensured only suitable staff were employed.
