Stichell House provides accommodation and personal care for up to 35 people, including those living with dementia. At the time of inspection, 34 people were resident at the home.

Residents felt very safe and spoke highly of the care they received. Staff were described as "very kind," "excellent" and "caring," with residents praising their patience and humour. One person said, "The carers are so patient with everybody, have a good sense of humour and keep the place happy all the time," while another noted, "It is very well organised, very clean, welcoming and homely.

The home effectively safeguarded people from abuse and managed risks to both individuals and the environment well. There were sufficient staff to meet residents' needs.
