Stanley Grange

Stanley Grange provides accommodation and personal care for adults with learning disabilities and complex needs across bungalows, houses, flats and cottages. At the time of inspection, the service supported 27 people in residential care, eight in supported living arrangements, and six receiving nursing care. Staff demonstrated a genuinely kind and caring approach, maintaining people's dignity and privacy while treating them with respect. People were fully involved in the service and had meaningful opportunities to give feedback.

The service delivered person-centred care with positive outcomes for residents. Although the campus-style model does not align with current best practice guidance, significant effort had been made to reduce the impact of this historical care model through ongoing alterations to accommodation and service structure. The individualised approach to care delivery meant people were supported to participate actively in their local community and live as full a life as possible.
