Stallcombe House

Stallcombe House accommodates 32 people with learning disabilities and autistic individuals with complex needs across two units near Exeter in Devon. The main house supports 27 people organised into four zones of six to eight residents each, while The Willows provides separate accommodation for six autistic people. Each zone has its own dining area, kitchenette and lounge, creating distinct living spaces within the larger building and maintaining a less institutional atmosphere.

The service is situated in a rural location, which may limit independent access to the local community for some residents. While the division into smaller zones helps mitigate the challenges of supporting a large number of people in one building, the rural setting presents ongoing considerations for residents' community engagement and independence.
