St Vincents House

St Vincent's House provides personal care and nursing care to older people and people living with dementia, with capacity for 91 residents. At inspection, 50 people were using the service. The home had implemented enhanced infection control measures including thermal imaging systems to screen visitors for high temperatures and lateral flow testing. Communal areas were disinfected using fogging machines alongside routine enhanced cleaning. A dedicated visiting room with a glass partition and separate entrance was prepared for safe visits once restrictions were lifted.

Staff had access to separate break facilities on each floor to reduce cross-contamination between groups. The provider encouraged staff vaccination against Covid-19, offering them the opportunity to discuss any concerns with a local GP.
