St Thomas

St Thomas is a nursing home providing personal and nursing care for up to 72 older people, some living with dementia, across two floors with ensuite bedrooms and shared living areas. At the time of inspection, 57 people were using the service. People and their relatives felt safe, with risks to health and safety appropriately assessed and managed. Medicines were handled safely, though some recording improvements were identified and addressed immediately. Staff numbers were adequate to support people safely.

Incidents and concerns were reported and investigated appropriately with suitable follow-up actions. The home maintained positive relationships with healthcare professionals and ensured people had access to health services meeting their needs. People received adequate nutrition with choices and support tailored to their individual requirements.
