Homefield House Nursing Home

Homefield House Nursing Home provides personal and nursing care to 22 people aged 65 and over, most of whom are living with dementia. The home is purpose-built with four distinct areas, each containing six bedrooms, a kitchenette, dining and lounge space. A central 'street' with natural lighting and mock shop fronts connects the areas, creating a supportive environment for residents.

At the time of inspection, robust infection control measures were in place to protect people from COVID-19, including regular testing for staff and residents, appropriate access to personal protective equipment, and clear procedures for managing isolation or outbreaks. A deputy manager was acting in a leadership capacity with support from the provider, who was actively recruiting for a permanent registered manager position. The provider maintained an audit schedule and oversight of quality and safety across the home.
