About St Marys

St Marys is a residential care home in Nottinghamshire, providing support to older people, including those living with dementia. Details of the most recent CQC findings are set out below.

St Marys is a residential care home in Nottinghamshire providing support to older people, including those living with dementia, for up to 23 people. The CQC rated the service Requires Improvement overall, finding breaches relating to safe care and good governance. Environmental risks, incomplete records and weak audits meant leaders did not always have effective oversight, though the provider responded promptly when issues were raised.

Inspectors also found a warm, family-like culture, with kind, attentive staff who knew residents well. Relatives spoke highly of the caring, approachable team and the registered manager, and felt confident their loved ones were safe and well looked after despite the shortfalls identified.
