St Margarets Nursing Home in Cornwall provides nursing care for up to 32 older people. The home was previously in breach of regulations relating to person-centred care, consent, safe care and governance, but the CQC found these issues had been resolved and rated the service Good overall.

Inspectors found risks were now well managed, with window restrictors and radiator covers in place and staffing levels sufficient to meet people's needs. Care plans were up to date and governance systems had improved. Residents, relatives and visiting professionals spoke positively about the kindness and responsiveness of staff.
